Everybody loves a freebie!!

Earlier this week my grandmother, Ma, called to tell me about a bras and breastfeeding store that was featured in the Greenville newspaper! The store is called "Happy Girls" and was having an Open House yesterday. Now, obviously I am new to all of this and was interested in getting information because I do plan on breastfeeding. The owner of the store, Sophie, was the lactation consultant at PCMH for 33 years, and she just retired and decided to open up this business as a great place for women to become educated about breastfeeding and to be fitted for good nursing and everyday bras. I went into the Open House with basic intentions of just getting some information seeing as they offer free classes about breastfeeding, baby sign language, etc. She had yummy food including some delicious cupcakes (which I took home to enjoy with a glass of milk! - I can thank Sherlyn Jean for that addiction haha!) So on my way out the door with vanilla cupcake in hand, I saw some little cards to write your name and phone number on to register for their gift giveaway. Not ever winning anything but being an optimist at heart, I wrote my name and number down and headed to the house. That night I got a call saying I had won the free gift! I returned today to find I won a CUTE nursing bra and nursing camisole with 10 nursing pads! You would have thought I won the lottery! I was so excited that we all giggled at how little it takes to make me happy! I told Sophie how great those cupcakes were yesterday, and she proceeded to tell me they had some left over.....soooooo, I got another cupcake!!! This time I got the strawberry cupcake (you know I've been craving strawberries!) And I savored it just as much as the first one! All in all, I'd say it was a successful first attempt at getting the breastfeeding ball rolling!

Here is a picture of all of my free goodies!!

Here's Our Proof!!

Today we FINALLY got to go to Physician's East to meet with the midwives that will be following us along throughout our pregnancy and will eventually help deliver Baby E! Here is a video of our preciousness on ultrasound! Our projected due date is February 8, 2013! As of today, we are 9 weeks and 4 days and the baby is measuring a whopping 2.7cm (he/she's the size of a grape!!!) On this video you can see him/her and hear the heartbeat! We made an appointment to go back on September 4th to tell if it's a little boy or a little girl!
